John 1:1
This verse from the book of John is often quoted, and taken up by many Christians. When we look at the context of the book of Genesis, we remember that God created the world by his Word.
And God said: Let there be light; And there was light. Genesis 1-3
We therefore know that the word of God is creative, that it is the bearer of a force, of a power. We have this invaluable word with us, and yet every day we neglect it.
Sometimes we don't even know how to pray, but if we look at the Bible, we have so many examples of answered prayers made by prophets, men, and women of God. We also have the example of our Master Yehoshua through the very famous prayer we call "the Lord’s prayer" in Matthew 6.
When we meditate on the word, we meditate on God, when we read the Bible, we read about our God, we come to know him and to contemplate him.
We have His living Word with us, declare it in your homes, on your lives, on your nations, because this word is the bearer of hope, of promises, and it always comes true.
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15: 7
We need to realize that we have an extraordinary weapon! When I go through difficult times, when I cannot pray, I remember that I have this fantastic Word, I can read it or listen to it and it lifts me up.
I hope you too can discover this word of Love.
God bless you
